She knows their best bet is to get out, wait for the explosions to pass, then look. She knows she caught the edge of Wyatt's voice so -- alive. Didn't sound like he was hurt, but she's still choking on dust too much to follow up Howard's call. She claws her way out of the top, balancing precariously to edge out how to climb down -- and then Howard's slipping. She tries to reach for him and fails fantastically, sending her nearly over the edge before she turns right-side up, landing awkwardly beside him.

She covers her mouth with her elbow, shoving herself to her feet with red palms, skin peeling away. Once enough of the dust clears, she thinks she can see Wyatt climbing out behind.

Jesus. No more traps at every exit.

"You okay?" she chokes out, then clears her throat and yells it louder. Julie waves an arm for his attention, the air still tinged brown with erupting soil.
