WHO| Don, Lottie, Max, and Tony
WHAT| Two mutants, a playboy and a belle unite. The greatest alliance ever comes into being. The breaking of bread and the hunting and eating of dead things ensues. Also they have procured most of the remaining supplies at the cornucopia.
WHEN| The first evening of Arena 2
WHERE| Somewhere in the Arena. R-12, perhaps?
WARNING/NOTES| Tony is probably a warning unto himself.
It really was an odd group for an alliance. Not that Don was fully aware of that (or if he was, he wasn't making a big deal of it) as he went with Lottie, gathering up supplies. Glass, bottles, any ripped cloth or flags, stones, broken toys and amusement park parts, anything his mind could grasp as being useful from firewood to weaponry to other things, not just whatever could be carried away from the Cornucopia in the bags. Which might seen odd to most, but for Don, everything could be used for something.
But finally, they made it to the promised meeting place that had been designated. He might or might not have been late - hard to keep exact time without a watch - but he and Lottie certainly didn't come back empty-handed.

And this arena didn't seem to be any kinder.
She panted along behind Don, arms full of scrape, and hoping it was a good idea to trust his taste in allies. But then again she didn't have too much of an option.
At least the heat was far more like home.

he really just thought of every water supply he could- now, so when they got to their destination, Lottie could use some to rehydrate."We're almost there." Turning around, Don gives Lottie a smile or reassurance. "Just another block!"

"Tony should be catching up with us soon." she remarked, taking a moment to consider the blonde. "So you're Lottie." she said, giving the belle a frank gaze. "Do your best to keep up." Her attention turned to Donatello.
"Once we meet up, we should find shelter with a good defensive position, inventory our resources, and assign watches." Max advises the TMNT. "And...we need to decide at what point we become a hunting party." Because sooner or later, they're going to have to make with the killing. "Did you see that little brown haired pixie that curbstomped the cowboy? She's like a box marked ''kittens'' that actually has a zombie saber tooth tiger in it instead, surprise."

He hadn't lingered at the cornucopia long enough to know who made it, and typically he was a go-it-alone kind of guy but he was even more of a keep-your-own-ass-alive kind of guy, and it was just good tactics to have a person or two at your side who seemed less likely to stab you in the face while you were sleeping than... to not. So he's keeping to the little agreement he and Max had made only days ago because if Tony understands anything, it's odds. And they get higher if you have someone watching over you while you sleep.
It takes a lot to get him there. Mentally at least. The walking isn't as hard as he was anticapting after having seen the footage of the previous Arena. No. Mostly, he has a lot of internal debates. No Tony, keep to the plan. No Tony, don't go back to that abandoned amusement park that looks ripe for salvaging parts to build all kinds of useful things. No Tony, don't drink your precious water until you're sure you can get yourself some more.
Stealth was never one of Tony's strong suits. Ever. Anyone with ears will know he's nearby. Especially when he keeps shouting at the goddam crows who circle the place like they're just waiting on someone to die.

At this, Don looked down at the non-Cornucopia supplies at hand. He's about to mention weaponry for killing animals when the sound of a voice stops him cold.
"...Someone's nearby."

Finding a shell of a car, Max climbed the hood with surprisingly agile and silent feet, using the upper body of the vehicle to hide until Tony comes into view. She remained weaponless - but then an X5 is never weaponless. Not really.
Once she was sure it was him, she called out softly, "Tony." from her predator-like crouch on the car.

On the other hand Max actually seemed to know what she was doing. An Lottie wasn't going to undermine that.

It's a familiar voice, or, well, a familiar-enough voice, and an expected one at that.
"Hey, hey, it's just me," Tony announces himself defensively, though he raises his arms as a gesture of.. peace or whatever gesture holding up one's arms is technically supposed to mean.
"Well me and some blood thirsty ravens, but hey, the more the merrier." He doesn't mean the last part really. He could do without the ravens. But he is alone. And he hasn't come entirely empty handed, either.

-and he suddenly grabs a raven mid-swoop with one hand, snapping its neck with his other hand. The bird suddenly lay lifeless in his hands.
"...Oh." At this, Don realizes he probably faked out Tony, and he looks at the man sheepishly. "Sorry."

She slid down the front of the car and landed to her feet, eyes constantly searchig the perimeter as she signaled to Lottie it was safe to come out. "Hey, old guy." she greeted Tony with a smile. "We shouldn't stay out in the open for too long." This to everyone.
Her eyes fell on the raven, and she smacked her lips. "Looks like somebody's dinner, maybe - but we should make sure they're not poisonous or something first. I don't trust anything here to be what it appears."

And the little blonde thing too.
All in all, Tony thinks this might have worked out better than he thought it was going to.
Well, for the day, anyway.
"Hey there, Scary Spice," he says with a wink to Max. "Turtle Wax. Belle de la stade mort." he then nods to Donatello and Lottie. "Good to see no one has died a terrible and bloody death just yet."

She looked away, pressing a hand to her mouth as Don caught the crow. Yes, she was much more fond of the tutrle.
No, she wasn't ready to see that.
"Ah, hello Tony." She said, trying to avoid looking, or thinking, about the crow.
