Peggy took the wooden chair and smashed it against the wall. Hard. It splintered into a few pieces and she lifted a leg with a jagged edge. That would do nicely.

If anyone was around, they would have heard the noise, but at least now she had something near enough to a weapon to hold her own long enough to run. It was better than relying on a bump on the head.
