The dress they had put her in was a lot heavier than she was used to, she spent the time before they went up in the tubes practicing walking as quietly as she could. So much confused her, whatever they injected in her arm, the tubes, the screens. She kept telling herself it was just another country and for some reason these strange things hadn't been taught to her.

She was beginning to not believe herself though. She tugged at the black sleeves of her dress and looked around the arena, she had found the emptiness as she was sent up. She needed all the alertness she could find.

She told herself she wasn't scared. She saw the castle in the distance, and took in the rest of the ruins wondering what kind of odd place this was. She had been warned that the beginning was a blood bath and she planned to avoid it. She could find things later she was sure, she might be a good killer, and good at hiding but she wasn't that strong and knew she couldn't win a fair fight with most of these adults. She closed her eyes for a brief second, offering a prayer and a dedication to the god of chaos.

The music started, which was just stupid, Pruna took a deep breath and opened her eyes. After the slightest moment of being distracted by the exploding lights in the sky she ran. She ran as fast as she could, cursing the stupid shoes and the stupid heavy dress, once she figured she was far enough away she dodged behind a building and kicked off her shoes savagely. She tied the laces together and slung them round her neck before shoving the socks in her pocket. The shoes were stupid and made running hard, but they might make a decent weapon.

Then she kept going, eyes darting around, sticking to the shadows. Heading towards the castle.
