Sokka had seen the fantastic Cornucopia with all of its tempting supplies and had immediately decided against rushing in there. Everyone else might be trying to grab some gear too, and that would mean far more danger. So he took the time instead to gawk at the surrounding landscape. not what he'd expected. This place must have been beautiful once, though the statue is kind of weird and the proportions of some of the buildings seem so strange.

Aside from his ridiculous outfit, though, he feels fairly confident, and he needs raw materials to start making something he can defend himself with. As the free-for-all at the Cornucopia begins, he heads away, sprinting off along the worn-down pathways.
