The majority of the rumblings of rebellion in District 12 have been in the mines. Once the word got to the Peacekeepers, they began patrolling the mines carefully, keeping an ear out for seditious talk. However, with the arrival of the rebels, some miners have used the chance to finally put an end to their overseers. They collapsed an important tunnel, leaving many Peacekeepers trapped in the mineshafts with limited air supply.

Some Capitol soldiers have been divided from the main forces to go rescue the Peacekeepers. Because the main sections have been closed by the miners, the only way to get to the part of the cave where they can be tunnelled out is through a rickety mine cart rail. So pack into the mine carts, hold on tight, and mind the rebels!

The rebels have decided that they really don't want the Capitol to get the extra manpower of the Peacekeepers, and know that their deaths will be a huge morale loss for the other side. So they've assigned a team to go into the mine and try to collapse the entire section, killing both Peacekeepers and those assigned to rescue them. Of course, as the Capitol agents will be in the mine rails, in order to get to them, you're going to have to hitch a ride on a mine cart as well.
