Mollusc hasn't come out of this too poorly, so far; he's managed to survive, other Tributes have gone out of their way to help him escape death, and he's even been sent Sponsor gifts. He's been trying to stay near water, recognizing his strengths and attempting to play to them, but while he's poking around near the Air Temple along the shoreline, he sees a boat approaching, along with a familiar bald head. That's why he decides not to hide, instead putting down his makeshift fishing spear and hailing Aang with a wave.

"Hey, Snakebait," he greets, digging the head of his spear into the sand at his feet. "I was wondering when I'd see you in here. Don't worry... I haven't killed anyone yet and I don't plan to start now."
