Each little cry is a tiny stab at Luna's heart, but she focuses on wrapping the jacket arm around the remains of Maglev's arm and pulling it as tight as she can. Even if that can only do so much for the girl, with no other resources it's the best Luna can manage right now. It would be better if they could get her some rest, but that's probably not going to happen right here and now; they need to find somewhere safer and more stable than the desert near the Cornucopia.

She stands up, draping the rest of the jacket up Maglev's arm and over her shoulder before - slowly, to avoid startling her - giving her a light hug with one arm, leaving plenty of room for Maglev to shake it off if she's scared. Luna certainly won't blame her if she is. "I know it hurts. I'm sorry. Please, hang in there." It's an attempt at comfort first and a plea second, but both meanings are clear.
