Roland eyes the man's finger, looking deeply unimpressed. That's going to get infected, he's sure. As it's neither Roland's fault nor his problem, he does not draw any attention to this fact.

Good sign, though. That drink, whatever it is, must be very strong.

"Wouldn't mind parting with a couple, would you? I'd- shh!" The creature's made a noise, slowed and tilted its head. Possible that it's gotten close enough now to hear them. Roland looks at the man across from him who, if he normally has any common sense, probably has put it to sleep for a good long while.

Roland sets his right hand over the lower half of the other man's face. The empty spaces where its first two fingers used to be leave a gap over his mouth, but hopefully that'll muffle any noises well enough. Precautions have to be taken.
