He grunts and glances back at her, climbs down a little more, then jumps the rest of the way, most of his weight going on his whole and booted left foot. "Damp, angry." He leans against the tree to pull his ragged right boot back on, considering his own state. "Full of grief I'd thought long past. For this place, I guess I'm doing alright. If I can get a little drier."
