She tries so, so hard to shake the pain off, to breathe, but it's not working this time. She can feel her head pounding, the wound throbbing, and she's so, so cold. Her fingers feel like ice against her side, and Nill lifts her head so she can look at Karkat and try to reassure him, to tell him that she's fine, but it only results in another jolt of white-hot pain, and she doesn't understand how she can be so cold when it feels like her side is on fire. Her hand slips against the wall and she sinks down to her knees, trying and failing to will it away even as her eyes start to water.
