Who: Ruffnut, The Hiccup and Astrid Personaorbs, Kenny and open to all.
What: Ruffnut plays around with the portal gun then gets eaten by aliens.
Where: Upper levels of the space port

Ruffnut had a long standing rivalry with technology.

Sometimes...like when it was providing her with food or bubbles in the shower or lights at the touch of a button? Ruffnut loved it.

But when technology was keeping her contained or stopping her from lighting things on fire or causing mischief? It was a huge pain in her boney butt.

This gun though? This was pretty amazing.

Pointing it at the floor she squeezed the trigger creating a blue portal, before shooting it once more at the ceiling to make an orange portal.

She had been playing around with the gun in this fashion for hours and felt like she was only just now discovering it's potential for fun.

"Ready?" She grinned wickedly at the Hiccup Personaorb that was resting at her feet. His eye was wide and a nervous voice chirpped out "Not really?"

Ruffnut just cackled and nudged the orb through the portal. Sure enough he came falling out of the orange one up above and right back through the blue one below. Falling faster and faster with a woosh each time it passed by. The orb was screaming it's head off which only served to make Ruffnut laugh harder. This was so much fun she even forgot about her missing arm or the horrible stomach ache she'd had for the last hour.

The noise of a screaming personaorb was sure to draw some attention though. Ruffnut had not considered this and wouldn't. Instead she was pushing the Astrid orb towards the portal to join Hiccup.

The sound of the screaming did, in fact, attract this kid's attention. His switchblade was gone from when he'd had to jam it into Clementine's head in a panic--he really liked that thing, damn it--but he still had a pair of scissors. He carefully held them at his side, moving in quiet but hurried steps down the hall. What he came across, though...

Some girl-- or woman, whatever. Maybe a teenager. With only one arm!? And she wasn't tormenting anyone that Kenny could see, which confused him further, until he took sight of the portals. It was those strange ball things that were making the noises. And they were continuing, apparently trapped in a loop where the fabric of space had been bent, because every time they fell into the hole tinged with blue they'd pop back out from the orange one on the ceiling... only to fall through once more. Over and over.

He wasn't sure if she was sadistic or just bored. But Kenny wanted to know more about those things. He approached slowly, fingers still wrapped around the handle of his scissors in case she decided to attack.

"What are you doing?"

"Gah!" Ruffnut jumped, startled by his voice and turned pointing the gun at him and pulling the trigger. While the gun lit up this did...absolutely nothing.

"Oh...huh..." She looked down at the thing confused while the orbs continued to speed up their eternal fall.

"Um...it's a portal gun." She decided to explain while she pointed it at a wall to see if it was broken. When she pulled the trigger the orange portal that had been on the ceiling vanished and instead appeared on the wall where she had been pointing.

And so as the orbs once again fell through the blue portal this time they shot out of the new orange portal on the wall and flew across the room crashing against the wall on the far end with yelps and curses before tumbling to the ground and rolling away.

This was apparently hilarious to Ruffnut because she burst out laughing at their misfortune. "Did you see that?!"
