WHO KAIDAN & YOU
WHAT Kaidan is busted up and hurt after a rockslide. He's separated from his companions and is either a)easy pickings or b)someone who needs a little help depending on who's lookin.
WHERE 7-Jish
WHEN after the rockslide.
NOTES Kaidan has raccoon eyes, a broken nose (which he's put back in place), some broken fingers (splinted) and a mass array of scrapes and bruises. He's moving a little slow.
Kaidan doesn't die in the rockslide, but he's been in better shape. He's banged up and scratched-- his nose is broken along with a few fingers and he definitely has two solid black eyes. He doesn't know where he ended up compared to the rest of the camp but he knows it would be futile looking for them so he doesn't. He... He can't exactly track in the state he's in, and climbing back to where the camp was would be hell. He'll try to rest for a bit, especially since the world periodically goes black aroun the edges or the trees start spinning.
Even so, Kaidan is no idiot. That rockslide hadn't been natural. It was manmade. As much as Kaidan wishes he could simply rest and heal, he can't. He has to keep moving from water source to water source, taking in his fill of anything edible he finds. He got some matches from his sponsers, not entirely useless but not entirely needed at this point; a bit of wire so he can at least try and snare game. It's something he hasn't tried, not yet. A safe place, first. But even then, safe was useless.
He'll have to slow down eventually, but at this point his mind is far too disjointed to even fathom calculating anything which rest would provide time for. Kaidan will be in control of what he can have for as long as possible. The strain of movement, the dedication to survival... that works for now.

When none came for some time after the rocks had settled, she realized sitting here and waiting wasn't the best idea. If he wasn't dead, he might be alive and if he was alive he probably wanted her dead.
Except the way back to her camp...had just been wiped out by the rock slide.

Though surely enough, with the appearance of the terribly hurt man not far from her, the young girl threw away her worries with a new concern.
"E-Excuse me?" She was shocked, really, since his wounds were the only things that Lily had been paying attention to, "Do you... Do you need help?"

Dragging himself upwards, Kaidan manages to limp away from the rubble, looking up at the mountain side he came from. There's not a whole lot left. There could have been cannon fire while he was out. Kaidan prays that there wasn't. Kaidan is leaning on a tree that wasn't toppled in the slide; keeping his weight off his left side, where most of his pain seems to be originating from.

He doesn't let his guard down, though. the Marine in him won't allow it. "That depends right now. Are you another tribute?" If not, Kaidan might have struck his head a little harder than previously thought or the gamemakers were getting awfully imaginative.

But the only way back was across this field, now thrown wide open by the rocks breaking down all the trees. She was almost upon Kaidan before she saw him.
"Oh Sweet Mary!" She gasped, before smacking her hand over her mouth.
Really it was a miracle she was alive.

At first, she doesn't quite understand as to why he would ask such a question. Everyone she just so happened to stumble upon had happened to unfortunately be a tribute, which kept the young girl traveling from one location to the next in attempts to avoid them.
Though this has proved to be - since it had happened a few other times - nearly a complete failure.

"You look just awful, you know that?" She gives him a wide smile to compensate for the truth in her words.
Yeah, she sucks at this game.

How someone immediately frowned or felt some kind of sympathy once they had realized that Lily was nothing more than a child. While they looked at her as something like an easy target, she was all too aware - too scared - of the possible harm she may cause in case she may become frightened by another tribute.
However, she simply shakes her head and pushes that all aside before answering, "My name is Lily." And here comes an awkward pause, "I, um... I'd like to help you."
That is, if he'd allow her to even get that close. Since she's already met up with a few tributes that are dead set on distancing themselves from everyone else.

And generally anywhere away from other tributes.

And realizing she had no idea what to do.
Oh bother. Bother bother bother. What would Tiana do?
"Uhh...where does it hurt?"

"I think somewhere, there's two rivers that come together just a couple minutes from here..." She says this while peeking over her shoulder, while taking small glances around her surrounding to make sure that the two of them were safe, "It's just below the cliff, so it probably shouldn't take long to get there."

It didn't even occur to her that, perhaps, listing off who she was with and that they had a base camp was maybe not the best idea.

"It's alright, we should be helping each other in the first place!"
At least, she would like to help anyone else.

Angling herself down, she gingerly looped an arm around her shoulders and looked back at him. "Ready to lift?"
no subject
"I... I did." She lowered her head, as her steps seemed to slow down as she could feel her stomach turn, "Were you with other people?"
She prayed not, but she knew that doing that would be a waste.

It wasn't easy to get him up. She was small and he was...not. Still, with a little bit of struggle, Lottie managed to find a good rhythm between them.
