The spaceport had seemed like a daunting maze in the very beginning, but courtesy of a lot of exploration and backtracking Daryl's come to familiarise himself with the layout of at least part of it. Makes it easier to avoid other Tributes and aliens alike. But he still has the occasional run-in with both — when he happens upon the girl, the decapitated head of one of the little green men hangs from his hand, two fingers jammed in either of its deflated, insectoid eyes like a grotesque bowling ball.
