He can't help the wince that comes when he hears Jet got stabbed, and he's automatically giving Jet a closer look over before the part about Venus helping him sinks in. Sam relaxes a little at that, though the name obviously catches his attention.

"Didn't manage a med kit, but I did grab a couple of things from the Cornucopia. Someone else got lucky for us, though."

Sam wants to ask about Venus - and about Albert, who he's assuming Jet's found - but Jet's answer to Bruce's question is more important at the moment, so he waits.
