Inside, Charlie is a whirlwind of emotions. She's been so glad to be among people this whole time, she had forgotten - forgotten how much the Island itself has both given and taken away from her. Having a visual reminder, being fairly ambushed by feelings she had been trying to ignore...it's more than she can bear.

She considers Signless's questions...and answers without answering either of them.
