Mariko's sobbing ceased when she heard someone moving in the water, coming right towards her.

Someone is coming to kill me. Those were her first thoughts. After all, they were still in middle of the battle to death. Even though the chances were that they were all going to die from drowning, it was still possible that there was some lunatic out there, who wanted to take out as many tributes as they could before running out of time.

Not daring to move a muscle, she hold her breath and hoped that whoever was coming, would not find her.

However, after hearing a voice talking to her she didn't really have any other option except face her approacher. But as she raised her head, only to see an unknown male coming closer to her, the panic and fear mulling inside her grew stronger.

"No!" she turned around to grab on the locked's door handle above her and tried to pull it open by force.
