Who| De and Shep
What| Shep rescuing De. But she doesn't make it.
Where| On a side street.
When| Backdated like whoa. Back to zombie friends and pre-De dying.
Warnings/Notes| Spoilers. She's dying.
When De had mentally patted herself on the back and decided she could handle anything, she wasn't counting on Sammy.
Not just Sammy, a young Sammy. Her sister was, currently, at most 11. And traumatized into a mute mentality that De didn't want to imagine the reasons for. Sammy was a tough girl, even this young. The thought that they had done something to the young girl's brain sat heavy in her stomach, but with each passing hour, she was more certain of it.
Someone was going to die.
She had gotten her sister away, on the edge of town, and tucked her into one of the collapsing houses. Intentionally picking a particularly derelict looking one, she hoped no one would enter it to find them.
Except, being so close to collapsing it had no supplies. And ever time she walked out, Sammy followed her.
Which lead to the ridiculous argument she was having with her mute sister right now, who just stared at her blankly, and then tried to follow her when she turned.
