The bad news, at least for Don: The kick connected. The good news, at least for Don: he was able to use the momentum of the hit to role as well. As he did so, he spotted the knife Bro had dropped, and made a dash for it.

Unfortunately, while rolling and then, seizing the knife, he momentarily forgot about the hoe.
