WHO| Lorne and Lindsey
WHAT| Reunion at last.
WHEN| An hour or so after the blood bath.
WHERE|Just inside the forest
WARNING/NOTES|Violence, maybe strong language.

Lorne approached Lindsey cautiously. At least he was 90 percent sure it was Lindsey. He didn't want to startle him and end up getting speared an hour or so in. He didn't want to be here, but the best way to get out and stay that way was to win. If one of them could get out they could help get the other out next round. Or at least that was his tentative pitch. He slowly approached watching the man for any sign of attack.

"Hey buddy, long time no see." He prepared to duck.

Arms laden with cans, Lindsey was leaned back against a tree to catch his breath. He was in the process of inspecting his stash when Lorne approached, and turning, he did indeed lash out before he had full time to identify who it was.

He spun on his heel and swung his arm out, hand holding a can to reinforce the blow. It never connected though, for the green demon had wisely prepared for the event.

"Lorne!" As Lindsey considered attacking again, he inspected the Deathwok demon, warily watching the reaction and movements of his murderer. "You're unarmed?"

The galls the green faced demon had in acting like nothing was wrong, like the last time he had seen him hadn't been when Lorne took out a gun and shot him full of holes. Lindsey had sworn to himself that he was going to kill Lorne when he saw him and he intended to make good on it, but if the jolly green giant wanted to play at them still being buddies, he could swing it. For now.

"Some crazy shit we're mixed up here... Which hell dimension is Panem? And how'd you end up here anyway?"

Lindsey was on the same ship on the matter of hell dimensions thing. Having worked for Wolfram and Hart, then struck out on his own and did even more research on them and their dimensions, never having even heard of Panem was worrying, but not completely surprising. After all, he had never been dead either.

Which made his blood boil when he heard Lorne talk so casually about helping out Angel. Years at court and a face that could win poker tournaments was what allowed him to keep smiling at Lorne.

"Me? I died." With that, he suddenly dropped all his cans save one and tried to smash those red horns and green forehead in.

"Why?" Lindsey repeated, going after Lorne again with the can of rations like a large cylinder shaped boulder. "Did you forget the purpose of this game?" He was stronger than Lorne would remember, faster too, and there was a coldness in his blue eyes that spoke of an anger more personal than the simple game he talked about.

If he could, he'll bash that green head in again and again until the demon fell, eyes only hardening each time until Lorne was spread out on the ground. "You're the reason I'm here!"

Lindsey smashed Lorne's head once more, then as the green demon laid there not quite dying but definitely temporarily out, Lindsey went around looking for a hefty stick. He managed to find one he broke off a fallen branch, and returning over to Lorne, he stabbed the demon right in his buttcheek. In case he missed, he stabbed again, making sure that he finally got the damn heart.

"Not part of the solution, huh? Bet you didn't see that one coming."
