Her body reacted before her mind had time to register the pain or panic; curling in on herself in a purely protective gesture. She couldn't breath. The panic set in and Glinda found it was even more difficult to cry now as her hand left her injured shoulder and clasped at her throat.
Oh Unnamed God. She was going to die. Glinda couldn't stop her shaking now. She couldn't help but be terrified. All of the people left behind that wouldn't know what had happened to her. She was just going to disappear into myth like the fairy goddess Lurline. Glinda the Good, she was apparently in Oz for a while.
She tried to take a breath and was rewarded with a big fat nothing.
