Gannicus leaps away from Thor's kick but not quite far enough away - Thor's reach is far longer than he anticipated, and a foot catches his knee with a crunch that Gannicus knows isn't a good sign. He curses in pain but doesn't nurse his injuries; ignoring the sharp jolt of pain that comes with putting weight on that particular leg he stands his ground and whirls around the press forward with a second attack - a third swing of the lead pipe, that this time comes much higher. Pain and the annoyance at having been caught by that kick to his legs makes Gannicus impatient - no more time for dancing around; the third swing aims to impact directly on the back of Thor's skull. A killing blow, he hopes.
