Nasir poured the water over Gannicus's hands, then set the bottle aside.

"Apologies," he said again not because angering Gannicus was the last thing Nasir wanted to do but because he had injured him. "I will use more caution. I did not mean to cause harm."

He inspected Gannicus's wounds now that they had been cleaned. He could not think of anything more that he could do, especially since he didn't know what had come from that strange object.
