Well, wasn't that just a horrible thought. After what they'd just confessed, it would make sense to bring them back, but that was no guarantee. The Capitol might decide that they weren't interesting enough, or that it would be more interesting to leave one dead and the other to mourn, or leave both of them dead to watch Cosmic Boy struggle onward. And even if they did bring all three of them back, they might have decided that Brainy was more entertaining without his implants.

"Yeah," he agreed softly. "If we survive, we should talk. When you're ready to talk about it."

He found a little smirk for Brainy. "Though I'd appreciate it if you did make it clear that we're going to talk about it and that we're not pretending this never happened..."
