"Only eight? Is that all?" Courfeyrac didn't know what a sweep was, but he could play along fairly well. For all he knew, eight sweeps was the amount of liquor he'd had, or something equally bizarre. He didn't ask, though. He was curious, but this was hardly the time or place for it.
