Warnings/Notes| Detta Walker is a warning in herself. Also, fire. Also this is more so that anyone who wants to log part of the fire will have a place to. I won't tag people unless they ask?
Detta walks softly while carrying a big stick.
It had been obvious immediately what the twofold nature of the trap was. The dust, to choke you and obscure your vision. Annoying by itself, but with the metal walls and metal floor, it was perfectly clear what else this section of the maze was: a firetrap.
So she walks very slowly now, with great care, holding her spear directly in front of her, point up, so that there's no chance of the metal tip to strike the metal of the floor and wall. She can hear that Harley in the trap with her. Can even hear others, further back.
And when she passes from the fat dust cloud to the clear air that signals the end of the trap, her face distorts into a rictus grin. Shrieking with laughter, she spins around, sticks her spear back in the cloud behind her and draws the tip deliberately against the metal floor.
Just as she knew it would, all it takes is a spark to create an inferno.
