"Me too," she replied slowly, tone implying that she wouldn't want them to be in her position either. She'd rather take the bullet here, as it stood. She wasn't even sure if Adam or Eva would know what to do if they were here. Just the thought itself was heartbreaking and she shuddered after a moment to shake the image from her mind.
