While Orc maybe didn't think of it nearly to that level, he could see how important this was to him.

But he was scared. For the first time in a long time he was scared of dying and he couldn't figure out why.

Orc knew thinking wasn't his strong suit. Acting rash, doing things impulsively. That was how he did things.

But how did Charles do things?

He wanted Charles to be different from Orc. To be a better man then Orc.
