The other woman's weapon caught her shoulder in a skimming motion, slashing her sleeve open and catching the skin beneath, blood already welling up red. It went unnoticed and unheeded as Ariadne turned the spear in her hands, rotating on the balls of her feet to try and dance aside, thrusting the spear in Neeshka's direction for another potential blow aimed for her stomach again. The chest might have been a better bet, but Ariadne wasn't sure she could get a solid blow strong enough to impale. Better to aim for the soft flesh instead.
