Kankri knows it's unlikely that Kevin will listen, of course. He knows it's unlikely anyone would. But it's still the first thing he can think of to do in this moment, is try to talk it out. He swings out the crowbar a couple times in a warding-off gesture, but the movement is weak and clumsy, and he's obviously not used to it.
