It was after several long and agonizing minutes of fruitless maw on maw action that Zoidberg at last was forced to give up and face the music.

"Oh no! I've lost another one!" He dropped Joly's lifeless body unceremoniously onto the floor, shaking his claw at the heavens. "Damn you, vengeful Zeus!"

And with that heartfelt declaration, he rose to his feet and sadly began to scuttle away, realizing that he had probably not made a very good impression on Joly either way.
