He saw someone moving through his hair, and reached a hand out toward the shape. "Please! Help!" His voice had all the markers of someone that had been sobbing uncontrollably.

It was fortunate that his hair covered most of his face, or she would have seen the cracks in his veneer. Here was his chance for revenge, so soon. He wondered what of him she'd seen while she'd been killing Shion, but this was a chance he'd have to take.
