He tugged the plastic packaging open with a cheeky grin, pouring out the soft, gummy treats into an open palm. He popped one into his mouth and chewed it thoughtfully before offering her a handful of them. The texture was odd, but it didn't taste too terribly awful.
"These do not at all measure up to the real fruit we tasted back in the District." There was the slight pang of nostalgia welling up inside of him. Truthfully, it was because he was suddenly remembering the night they'd first met and how delicious she looked in that golden dress.
