WHO| Lorne and open
WHAT| Lorne venturing out in search of food.
WHEN| Day 3ish
WHERE| P 4 area
WARNINGS/NOTES|None

Trees were nice, they provided shade and shelter, and something to scurry up at the slightest noise. That was currently Lorne's life. Two days down and god knew how many to go.With all that the trees provided him the one thing he needed was food. Coconut water was fine, but he had never really been a fan of the meat. It wasn't the flavor it was the consistency, namely the one of tree bark.

So he was leaving his beloved trees in search of food. He was hoping to get some sort of fish and hope it didn't kill him, or end up giving him a really bad trip. He had never really had problems with food. He could last a few days without it, and after eating the slop served in Pylea dumpster diving seemed like fine dining.

He edged out to the water hoping to find a meal and not end up someone else's.

It had seemed prudent to ditch Revya before she wound up accidentally pissing her off, and Neeshka had wound up migrating to the north end of the island just to make sure she was safely away from the girl. Then she'd proceeded to actually catch herself some dinner that didn't kill her and squirrel herself away in the trees to nap during the hottest parts of the day.

The tiefling wasn't exactly a heavy sleeper, especially not when she was worried about death and mauling, so the sound of someone passing by not far away woke her up. She came awake all at once and held her breath, trying to guess just where the someone was, but Lorne was well past her hiding place under the underbrush now, so the sounds of him moving was on the sand, now. Trying to be quiet-- silence was so much easier in the city than the jungle!-- she wriggled to the edge of the trees to spy on whoever it was. She was half-tempted to surge out and try to take him by surprise, whoever he was, and take out some competition.

At least, until she spotted that he had horns and green skin, and looked rather like a demon. Kind of like she did. She stared for a minute.

Busted. Must have some kind of sixth sense about being watched, or something. Neeshka huffed out a quiet little sigh, then poked her head up so she-- and her cute little horns, and if he had sharp eyes, maybe even the mottling of her ruddy skin-- were visible.

"Since I never met her, that would've been pretty hard to do," she called back cheekily, pulling up a grin that was only a little bit lopsided. She was still kind of shocked to see what seemed, to her, to be another tiefling. Or maybe even a full demon! That would be kind of scary.

"Trouble's fun, though!" Neeshka shot back, but she was grinning a bit more now, and more fully. She climbed out of the foliage entirely, and brushed some leaves off before padding out to check him out.

And, tail atwitch, she did exactly that: she moved in a circle around him, her hands clasped behind her back, and mused cheerfully, "Never thought I'd see another tiefling here! This is kind of awesome."

"Wow. You've obviously never met any of the horned folks I know, then." Neeshka snorted lightly, and came to a stop in front of him, standing on tip-toe to get a look at that extremely pointy nose he had. And, of course, the horns. He was a good head taller than she was. "Demon-spawn kind of don't really like each other much, where I'm from."

And he didn't know what exactly she was, either. Huh! "Besides, I'm only part demon. That's what tiefling means, you know-- demon child. I, uh, guess that's not you, then." Which meant maybe she ought to back off. She didn't trust demons. Anyone with half a brain didn't trust demons.
