It's not difficult to pick up on the nuances in R's behaviour. It would almost be endearing if he weren't unwittingly falling prey to a discreet sort of hunter. He won't gain anything from killing him here and now, though if he's as inept as he seems he can't have been here long and thus won't provide information. He supposes overall, it doesn't hurt to make an alliance and keep that friendly and accommodating demeanor up.

If he's put off by the teeth, he doesn't show it, he just smiles wider himself and watches curiously as R tucks it away. It doesn't surprise him that he might want to save it for later, he hadn't even considered that he might want to give it to someone else.

At the question, he glances around as if making sure nobody else is around. Surely it's a huge secret since it's all in plain view, but the less people getting at the better. "The floor below this one." He points downward with a sly grin. "There were hundreds of pastries when I last checked, but there was someone very off-putting lurking around.." He trails off with a small shrug, looking hopefully for a sword amongst the weapons.

He won't bother with a poker face for the moment, he's going to look at the case with earnest interest, as if trying to figure out how to get into it.
