Harley chokes on her own throat as the punch connects and she rolls onto her side wheezing and gasping for air.

Unfortunately that desperate sucking of air means she inhales more of the chemical into her nose and mouth.

Whimpering on the ground she feels her muscles starting to twitch. Whatever this stuff is it's acting fast and-

The world goes white for a moment, a flash of brilliant paint and she's on the floor sobbing through burning blurry eyes.

What just happened!? Was she still being attacked? Her heart was stabbing at her and she clawed at the ground to try and push off the floor and get a look around.

Some clever tribute trampled her and all they got was a yip like she was a kicked dog. Her right arm didn't seem to want to answer her commands so her left arm was under her, hauling her body along the floor. When she tried to get her knee up under her it just slid away.

She felt a tickle on her chin and brought her functioning arm up to dab at it. Foaming drool and blood, had she bit her tongue? She'd barely felt it! And the foam put some silly thought into her mind.

"Rabies?"

Her voice didn't sound like her own and she groaned continuing to drag herself away from the melee.
