Who| Peeta -> Katniss -> and the Initiate
What| Peeta and Katniss are in the wrong place, at the wrong time, and Peeta pays the price.
Where| Somewhere in the middle of the jungle.
When| Week Four
Warnings/Notes| Murder, death, language, angst, the whole nine yards.
No one would ever say that being in an arena was easy, and Peeta was certainly not going to start now. But while they had met a few people so far, they were still alive. Still in this place, still sort of going strong. The kind of going strong where you were so tired, and so thirsty, and so hungry, and you were kind of surprised at how long you'd lasted. They'd seen the people here in the last few arenas, so they knew what they were up against.
They'd been walking for awhile, because staying in one place in this arena didn't seem like the best idea out there. Not for very long, in any case, but they would tire out eventually, and Peeta was thinking that right now was as good a time for a break as any.
"Think we could stop for a few minutes?" Leaning against a tree, he had come to a slow halt from his walking position behind her.
