Maximus raised an eyebrow as they proceeded to talk about him as if
he
wasn't there.
Ultimately though, he was amused. It was unfortunate that when he was amused he tended to make terrible jokes.
"Nothing to worry about. I already ate, this morning, and I doubt I'd get a full meal between the two of you."
