She was not going out in that water.  No way, no how.

It wasn't that she didn't know how to swim - she loved to swim, so long as it was in a pool.  But the ocean was just a big puddle of death waiting for her to dip her toes in to swallow her whole.  She would rather starve to death than get eaten by a shark or be grated like cheese upon the coral.

The island they'd been launched on was tiny and had nothing in they way of life-sustaining flora such as she could see the other islands sported, but that was where she was going to stay until she had no other choice.

Ariadne was sticking to this island for the time being, gathering her wits back about her from the Cornucopia. Though it hadn't been quite as violent as those she'd seen in the past, it hadn't exactly been a walk in the park; still, she walked away unscathed, and with some items to her name. That was good enough.

She held her position from afar, watching Emily for a long moment as she hoisted her new bag onto her bag, adjusting the straps. Her plan involves getting to another of the islands, but only after she's exhausted every other possibility, and that means watching the other available Tributes, even if it means lurking in the bushes.

Eliot wandered over. He'd been looking for Ariadne and Momoko since he left the bloodbath. They'd probably left the island while he was fighting. But he wasn't leaving until he pulled out a few of those explosives. There wouldn't be any way of adapting them this time but he could still use them to make a trap. He hadn't expected to see anyone lingering around the Cornucopia itself, much less Ariadne and whoever she was talking to.

"You made it."

((OOC: Feel free to have Emily recognize Eliot from FBI records, if you want, as well as the interviews. He has a criminal record, a CIA file (the kind for someone they've hired), and is wanted in several countries.))
