WHO| Tali and Grey
WHAT| Death time.
WHEN| A few days after the bloodbath
WHERE| N 10
WARNING/NOTES|Probably violence, maybe fowl language.
Tali cautiously poked her head out of the side of crumbling building that had been her safe haven until then. If she didn't venture out, she would starve to death. She didn't know if she would even be able to find food here. Making sure to check any blind spots for potential threats, she stepped out.
It was obvious to her that was too weak to face any sort of fight.

The doctor heard rather than saw her, having been coming up the side of the building nearest where Tali stepped out. Just around the corner, a footstep. Too heavy to belong to a wild dog. He tightened his grip on the sturdy piece of re-bar he'd picked up along the way and inched forward.

"I do not wish to fight." She said evenly, hoping that this person would listen to reason. "Please, I understand why we are here but I wish you no harm." Because I don't have a machine gun, was the mental continuation of that.

The scientist grins at Tali. "You wish me no harm." He repeats. He isn't quite sure what Tali is. She sounds human enough. But she certainly doesn't look it. She isn't the first person he's noticed who appears to be something other than human.
"I see." He glances down at the re-bar in his right hand, switches it to his left. The sunlight reflects off of the metal of his cybernetic hand. He's long realized by now that there's something wrong with it. That it isn't working quite the way it was before he got here. But it's hardly useless.
The man clicks his tongue and glances back up at Tali. "Then it's rather unfortunate that only one of us may emerge alive... wouldn't you agree?" Tali isn't given a chance to reply as both of Grey's hands wrap around the piece of re-bar and he runs for her.

"Keelah." Groping around to anything to defend herself she felt like she was floundering.

Turning back towards her, he favors the limb slightly as he attempts to bring the re-bar sharply down across her head.

"It's a helmet ass hole, do you not know what they are?" A few verbal jabs might be the only thing she could land on him, but why the hell not?

Noticing that the plastic pane across the front of the helmet at least has cracked, he aims for that next. Let's see who's inside, shall we?

"You call that a swing? I've seen Volus hit harder." It's didn't really dawn on her until she had said it that that probably didn't mean anything to him.

Grinning a little wider, he raises the piece of re-bar over head, aiming to bring it down over the plastic panel across the front of the helmet again. He's in no real hurry, you see. And he really is rather curious to find out what's beneath it.

Fighting blind she lashed out in that general direction hoping to get something.

There's a yell of both surprise and pain as Tali's fingers find his wounded calf, fresh blood having been already soaking the pants leg from his careless movement alone. Cursing, Grey tries to jerk the injured leg out of her grasp, swinging the re-bar down for the offending arm.
