The building had obviously been for something huge. Because it was huge. Miles of corridors, all wrapped around each other, followed in their path by many, many pipes, and most of them still accessible. Occasionally a collapsed wall impedes the hall's path, but down here most everything is clear. Room after room split off, varying from offices, now left in ruins, to huge rooms fulls of large machines, now rusted and useless. Break rooms, labs, control rooms, whatever was done here, it was big. And from what was still here-over turned chairs, projects left disintegrating on tables-abandoned in a hurry.
And down here? Now dark. Occasionally a collapsed roof let in shafts of light. But once your eyes adjusted to the dark, a soft glow became apparent. All along the walls, a softly glowing mold was spreading, giving just enough light to see by. It was nice and warm down here too, a refreshing break from the cold outside.
And if you followed the right halls, suddenly you found yourself in a large, open room. In the middle is a strange lump of smooth rock, having been blown down there from some explosion from above. And around that? All the supplies your little heart could desire. There are force fields that flicker softly in the corners, but they don't stop you from retrieving the supplies.
What might, however, is the way the room makes you feel. Tingling, and overwhelmingly nauseous. Although the room itself is pleasantly warm, anyone standing there is hot, feverish, and feels as if they have the worst bout of flu. Ever.

General exploration (and possibly other things too)!
You must trust your instinct. If something is wrong, you must discover the source.
And so he went in. And was instantly hit with a feeling of familiarity. The lobby was just like any other lobby in an office building, but there were also rusted metal detectors. Several of them.
And he started to go further in, that feeling of dread threatening to turn into nausea. Deeper into the dark to figure out what the shell was going on with this Arena.

Plus, it's nice to be inside.
Less nice is the deepening feeling of nausea and the flair-up of another headache. And then, of course, the sound of someone else approaching.
Tony stiffens, knowing it's easily someone with a goddamn cross bow or something, sneaking up behind him to knock an arrow through his throat or something, but still, he hazards a look.
"Oh, hey there Koopa Troopa!" he recognizes the shadow more than he really sees Donatello himself.

And then Tony's voice echoed into his mind, and the turtle turned to face him.
"Tony." Don let out a slight sneeze. Probably the dust. At least he didn't vomit. Always a good thing. "Shouldn't be surprised to see you, should I."

"Thought I would check the place out. See if I can find anything useful." By which he means, things he can turn into weapons that blow people up. It's a forte of his. Might as well use what you've got. He doesn't mind divulging this information to Donatello. It's not exactly something that the turtle-guy doesn't already know, anyway. Plus, he's mildly curious as to what he's doing here, also.

Well. As "right" as any fight to the death scenario could be, at least in comparison to the other two arenas.
"This place...I think this place might explain exactly why."

"Might be better to have another set of eyes down here," he says. "Considering.....well, there's a lot to be watching out for. "

Don bit his lip, then shook his head. Not at Tony. Just a sudden headache.
"Let's try and do this quickly. Find what we need to find and get out."

"You have any thoughts about this place yet?" he wonders, already walking again.

Though the thought of quite a bit of the items in this place being busted is starting to dawn on him. And not even in a good way, either. There are wires and instruments so twisted and damaged that not even he could fix it speedily, despite his experience with broken items in the sewer.

That was when his hand hit something hard and metal. Quickly Don uncovered it. His eyes widened, however, when he saw exactly what it was, and he quickly stood up, backing off.
"Oh..." Realization hit him as he coughed. "Oh shell. Oh shell, Tony..."

He turns to look and see's what Don is looking at.
"Wait a tick, is that....."
A goddamn geiger counter?! Yes. He doesn't even need to finish the question to know that, and he doesn't have to be told twice why one of those might be laying around here. Couple that with the mess around this place, he almost feels a fool not having figured it out already.

Including them. However, the other hand goes to his thigh for some reason.

He likes to hope that this line of thinking is only situational. Only one winner after all. Might make the odds better if most of them were offed by radiation poisoning.
It's a bit odd to him that Donatello isn't right on his heels though. For sounding so worried, Tony half expected the guy to be sprinting toward the exit, really. So what's the hold up?

With that, he's busting down the hallway.
"I'll meet you outside!!"
